Join Julia Rhoads of Lucky Plush Productions and some of her collaborators as they lead participants in dynamic, playful, and collaborative exercises that will help you discover your secret superhero alter ego and tackle timely and important questions about access and privilege within philanthropy and nonprofit culture.

This program will center around Lucky Plush Productions’ newest dance-theater work, Trip the Light Fantastic: The Making of SuperStrip, which follows a group of washed-up superheroes reinventing themselves in a nonprofit think tank for do-gooders. Challenged by the circularity of meeting culture and unable to agree on their mission, the unlikely league of supers discover that real-world problems are far more complex than singular forces of evil, and that having power (and privilege) is part of the problem.
